Core Returns

Blue Chip Diesel Core Return Policy

Blue Chip does not add a core charge at time of purchase. We charge a core charge only if we do not receive your core within 30 days of purchase/ship date of your rebuilt unit.

Please understand that by installing our injection pump, you agree to return the core within 30 days of purchase date, or pay the core charge promptly thereafter. As a thank you and as an incentive to get it back, we will pay for the return shipping.*

After installing our rebuilt VP44, simply reinstall plugs provided with the rebuilt pump in the core pump to prevent leakage, wrap core in plastic bag, and reuse our packing and box. If you borrowed our puller, please don’t forget to return that as well. Put the enclosed prepaid UPS return label over the original shipping label and drop off at your local UPS location.

Blue Chip’s Core Value Policy is straightforward and simple.

We do not deduct for, or issue partial credit of the core charge, unless the core has been in a fire, has been disassembled, or any part of the case is damaged or broken. There is a charge of $250 if the case is not reusable. Any questions about this policy please call 603-966-6459.

Charges Accrued After 30 Days:

The credit card that we have on file will be charged for the amount of $600.00 (15X/16X pumps), $1,000.00 (17X Pumps) for the pump core and or $50.00 for the borrowed puller, and if you used Pay Pal you will receive a bill to your email account. As we treated you fairly up front we expect the same in return, to return or purchase our property promptly, namely the core pump, and the puller if you borrowed it. Remember by installing the injection pump you agreed to return the old parts to us.

* Customers outside of the lower 48 states are responsible for all return freight charges and fees required to get their core back to us. If the prepaid return label that is included in every shipment to the 48 contiguous states is lost or misplaced it is still the customer’s responsibility to get the core back to us within 30 days.
