The Special X VP44 Injection Pump makes 22 more horsepower and typically gives 2-3 more miles per gallon than our exact replacement pump. This pump does NOT work with HO trucks. This means if you have a 2000 or 2001 truck with a six speed manual transmission AND the 8th digit in the VIN is a 7, or your truck is a 2002 six speed manual transmission, this pump will NOT work." It is not the so called "Hot Rod" pump which adds more fuel all the time to ruin fuel mileage. It has all Bosch made parts in it and therefore comes with the Bosch one year unlimited mileage warranty.
